LeatherCompass is a free catalog of leathercraft patterns. Our goal is to help beginners find a pattern — for a first wallet, card holder, belt or bag, and for whatever comes next.

Where the patterns come from

The catalog started from a community archive collected from public sources: patterns that makers gave away for free, attached to YouTube tutorials or posted on social media. Every pattern lists its maker and, where known, links to the original video and shop.

Patterns belong to their makers. We bring them together so they are easier to find, and we send readers to the makers.

Paid patterns

We do not give away paid patterns. If a pattern is sold, its page links to the maker or their shop instead of offering a download.

For now paid patterns are detected automatically, and the check can be wrong. If you see a paid pattern available for download, let us know and we will remove the files.
